In North America, GM ended the last year as the market share leader, driven by a sharper brand focus and strong market acceptance of our newly redesigned vehicles. In Canada, our core brand retails grew by over 26 percent.
In Brazil, GM is one of the top automakers, and in India GM sold a record number of vehicles last year. Over the past decade, General Motors and our joint venture partners have built a leading position in China —the world’s largest automotive market.
