GM in Egypt
General Motors Egypt (GM Egypt) has been importing vehicles into Egypt since 1922 and established its first Middle East office in Alexandria, Egypt in 1926.
In 1983, GM established the manufacturing facility and the first largest industrial facility in 6th October City, Egypt, and production began in 1985.
GM Egypt Products
GM Egypt markets the brands of Chevrolet and Opel in the Egyptian market through it’s sole distributor, Al-Mansour Automotive.
Today, GM Egypt and Al-Mansour’s networks include 61 showrooms and 40 service centers covering various governorates all over Egypt to support the booming growth in the country and to increase customer satisfaction. This number is expected to reach 63 Showrooms and 44 Service centers by the end of 2010.
